Online Therapy for Anger & Men's Issues in Seattle and Washington

with Dr. Bob Nemerovski, Psy.D. — Washington-licensed psychologist

Are you ready to…

  • Stop taking the day out on your partner or kids after a long crawl home on I-5?

  • Keep your temper from hurting your career, whether it's in meetings, emails, or with the people you manage?

  • Calm the middle-of-the-night worrying, the imposter feelings, and the endless "what ifs"?

  • Climb out from under depression, burnout, grief, or a divorce?

  • Get a relationship unstuck from the same old argument, or figure out where it's headed?

  • Rebuild your connection with a child who's drifting away, or help them find their footing again?

If you nodded at even one of these, you're in the right place. Managing anger is a skill you can learn, and you don't have to do it alone.

I've helped hundreds of people get their anger under control. ABC News Nightline, CBS and NPR have turned to me as an Anger & Road Rage expert. Today I work with clients across Washington, from Seattle and the Eastside to Tacoma, Everett, and Spokane.

I work with men, women, and couples affected by anger, and I welcome people of every age, background, gender, and orientation.

Issues I specialize in:

ANGER

Anger is a signal, not a character flaw.

I help you read it early and respond in ways you won't regret later.

Let’s start.

ANXIETY

Racing thoughts, a tight chest, 3 a.m. worry, sleep that never refreshes.

I help you find the root of the worry and build habits that calm your mind and body.

MEN’S THERAPY

Men learn early to “tough things out” alone. That works until stress, a short fuse, or friction at home starts to pile up.

I give men a straightforward, judgment-free place to work on stress, communication, and relationships.

DEPRESSION

Depression isn’t always obvious. You may still be working and showing up for everyone else while feeling flat, exhausted, and stuck inside.

I offer an empathetic yet direct, engaged approach that heals while building practical tools to help you re-connect to your life.

ANGER THERAPY FOR PARENTS

Yelling more than you want to? Kids can push buttons nothing else does, and the guilt afterward is exhausting.

I combine anger therapy with parenting coaching for calmer discipline, fewer blowups, and a united front with your partner.

Client Feedback

Why work with me?

I'm direct, practical, and easy to talk to. Clients tell me they appreciate that I don't just nod along: I'll tell you what I see, and we'll build a plan that fits your actual life. I've spent nearly 20 years helping people whose anger, anxiety, depression, stress, or relationships have gotten out of hand, and I bring that same focus to every session.

I'm licensed in Washington (#PY61627813) and see clients anywhere in the state by secure video, whether you're at home in Ballard, at the office in Bellevue, or parked somewhere quiet between meetings.

How Online Anger Therapy Works

  1. Book a free 15-minute call. Tell me briefly what's going on, ask any questions, and we'll see if working together makes sense. I will also explain how I work and what’s different from typical therapists.

  2. Fill out a few forms. The intake paperwork is quick and easy, and you’ll complete it online before we meet.

  3. Our first session. We’ll get specific: what triggers you, what’s under it, what it's costing you, and what you want instead. Most people leave with a clear direction and at least one tool to try that week.

  4. Regular video sessions. At first, we meet weekly for 50 minutes over secure, HIPAA-compliant video, from home, work, or any private spot that suits you. Session by session, we practice concrete skills, unpack real moments from your week, and notice what’s shifting. Together we’ll pinpoint your personal triggers and uncover what’s really driving your anger (or anxiety or depression), so we can work on the root causes, not just the symptoms. As things improve, we can meet less often. Appointments are available Monday–Friday, including evenings (Pacific Time).

Clients work with Dr. Bob from Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Tacoma, Everett, Olympia, Spokane, and everywhere in between. All you need is a private space and a reliable connection.

Fees & Insurance:

Sessions for adults and couples in Washington are $275 for 50 minutes; longer couples sessions can be arranged. I accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex), HSA cards, personal checks, and cash.

I'm an out-of-network provider. Each month I can give you a statement to submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement. Many Washington PPO plans cover part of out-of-network therapy, so call the number on your card and ask about "outpatient mental health, out-of-network."

Good Faith Estimate Notice:

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
